This Canberra walkaround was taken at the Beck Collection, outside Mareeba in far north Queensland. Syd Beck had a very extensive private collection of aircraft, ground vehicles and militaria. You’ll see a few walkarounds of his stuff on my site. Syd passed away a few years ago and the collection has since been dispersed. Syd was kind enough to show me inside the Canberra and I took a few snaps inside the cockpit. The aircraft appears to be quite intact. There are no obvious bits and pieces missing. The RAAF flew a total of 55 Canberras of various Marks. A84-210 is an GAF Australian built Mk.20 with Rolls Royce Avon Mk.1 engines. Canberras serverd with the RAAF from 1951 to 1982. Canberras of No 2 Squadron served in both Malaya and Vietnam
